The Audi S2 was to follow on the success of the Quattro. It uses the same 5 cylinder engine from the quattro meaning it has some great power. Its mated to a quattro system so has great traction in all weathers. Now days trying to find one is no easy task even more so with less than 100k on the clock. This car as with all 'S' cars will go one way in value and thats up.
This was the first A4 that became an 'S' car. After what Audi produced with the RS2 they could see there was a market for the upper class super saloon and so the S4 was born. This is a classic 'Q' car, it goes under the radar. As with larger Audi's it will understeer when pushed. However for normal driving you will have all the grip you could ever need. The engine is a power house, heavier on the torque side giving it great overtaking abilities.
This is one of the more modern cars on our list. Using the tried and tested 1.8 20V turbo the S3 first came with 210bhp then 225bhp in later models. Now bare in mind this car has similar power to the modern Golf GTi but with Quattro fitted it will give most modern hot hatchbacks a good run for their money. Plus with excellent build quality it doesn't feel as dated as you might think inside. Definitely one to watch but more so over a long period.
