What more needs to be said about this? Its an M3 pretty much the best super saloon around. This one comes with a 3.2 straight 6 engine and rear wheel drive. This car also came in 5 door and cabriolet form as well. So there really is an M3 that fits pretty much everyone. A well built but some what dated cabin will greet the driver but who cares when it drives this well.
I've included this as since the 6 series was reborn Mk1 6 series have seen a steady increase in value. The 635i would be the one to go for, it gives the best blend of power and performance. This is an established classic so you would have to be quick to jump on this band wagon.
The M3's big big brother. It sticks with the tried and tested 6 cylinder engine but size is up to 3.8 with 340bhp. Much like the Mk1 6 series values are already on the up as you would expect with an 'M' car. Why pick this over the M3? Personally I would say style more than anything. It just looks better in my opinion.
A car that time seems to have forgotten. It shares the same engine as the M3, managing to fit a 3.2 straight 6 under its bonnet. Now the M3 is fast but imagine that engine with less weight. Well thats what BMW gave us. In its day I remember looking at this car thinking it looked like a dogs dinner. However now days like a fine wine this car has became a little beauty.
